Description
We give so much to those around us, often at the expense of our own health and well being. But in order to be truly effective, we must make sure our needs are taken care of first. In this workshop, we connect the idea of self-care to not only the impact in our own lives but to the greater dividends it pays in the care we give to students.
Participants will learn strategies for taking care of their own trauma and issues before attempting to support others.
